Night Watch or Thud!

What about Going Postal and Making Money?
World of warcraft

I liked them too, and using a character who actively wants to avoid the now overused Watch was a good idea.
They do have the massive pitfall of the whole story just boiling down to Moist fixing a shitty situation in some way however. I certainly got tired of it by Raising Steam and even Making Money didn't have as much buzz to it as Going Postal.

Discworld Noir by FAR. First two games are obtuse as fuck and suffer from some of the worst cases of "developer logic" in puzzle games.

Raising Steam isn't out here yet, I'm kinda looking forward to it.
Although Snuff was pretty disappointing and patronizing.
Otherwise I agree anon.

You didn't think to use the love potion custard on the octopus that you tied up and put in a toilet in order to steal a belt buckle when you feed the fishmonger some prunes?
You pleb.
I just realized that I spend about three times more money on books than I do on games.

Snuff and Unseen Academicals were preachy as fuck. I had to actively make myself finish them, which almost never happens to me at all, much less with a Pratchett book.
I still hold Monstrous Regiment as the worst of the Discworld novels though.
