Hey guys is there any way to get metroid fusion on an original wii? I've got it hacked or whatever you wanna call it. I've installed a couple wads of old games. I injected master quest into an oot wad, so I kinda know what I'm doing, but I can't find anything out about metroid fusion except for wii u.

It's my head canon that there is some specific legal thing that prevents the G-fed from just finding some bullshit to arrest her and reverse engineering her power suit.
Given that the G-fed have canon not done jack shit with Chozo inhabited planets, there must be some piece treaty that keeps them away from chozo planets and something that would prevent them from just taking her tech.
That aside, I don't think Samus would be mercilessly hunted after fusion, there would be a cover up to avoid corruption getting leaked and a lot of effort to prevent her making an outcry against the Gfeds military core.

The "specific legal thing" is probably the fact that Samus would cause casualties that would probably number in the millions if the G-Fed was ever stupid enough to openly attack her.
My headcanon is that the G-Fed from Retro's games and Sakamoto's G-Fed are two branches, one that's specifically for retards with pointlessly evil plans and another that's for cool guys.

I don't think the power suit is that OP in it's own right, the advanceness is that it has the ability to absorb technology and transfer matter into energy and vice versa. Without absorbing the right tech her armor mainly just holds a powerful defensive advantage.
G-fed still have enough of an edge to handle space pirates, which can still take quite a beating even by Chozo made beam weapons, I wouldn't under estimate them or believe they'd be unable to defeat Samus. Remember, humans aren't as dumb as priates when it comes to reasoning.

Might as well post this in here: I recently had a random dream about Metroid. Found myself playing [what I assumed was] a Zero Mission-type remake of Metroid 2. Nothing really lengthy, but I found myself in a cyberpunk-meets-lava area (think Pirate Homeworld combined with Norfair) and after somehow dodging lots of enemies, climbing about a hundred floors and discovering, what I assumed, was, the top of a spire I had this satisfying feeling of playing a game that was fair in its [harder] difficulty, but reminiscing of my first time playing the original or Super.
If there ever was to be a new handheld Metroid, I worry whether I'll get that vibe or Nintendo will just find a way to fuck it up and lose thedreadof being in an alien environment.

How do I get into prime?
I've tried playing it like 5 times... I get about an hour in and then stop playing, for various reasons... and then I just can't get back into it so I just keep restarting and then getting to the same space and then stopping..
I prefer the 2D ones way more.. I wish there were more 2Ds..

I appreciate a lot of the things they tried in Echoes, and the bosses were certainly memorable, but the repetitive and comparatively bland world design kind of killed it for me. Dark Aether was genuinely stressful the first few times, but after that it was just annoying.

I want a real Metroid 0. A game that takes place before Metroid where Samus is just starting out and hasn't gotten most of her upgrades or confronted the Space Pirates/Metroids yet. Hell it could even build to the first ever encounter with them since in Metroid 1/Zero mission they're already regarded as a massive threat. If I need to move and aim at the same time I typically try to jump (While jumping your'll keep moving in the direction you wanted) and hold R to aim.
If no enemies are around to lock onto, pressing L can also lock you to face in the direction you choose. So you could hold R, aim, hold L, let go of R, start moving.
I guess I can see why it would be hard or inconvenient, but after awhile your'll become accustomed to it. I love the Prime series and I've mastered moving and aiming at the same time.
I absolutely love the GCs controls, but I hate the Wii controls.But I acknowledge most players don't wanna deal with the weird fuckery of trying to aim like this.

because i've been playing MP1 for the first time AFTER playing MP3 the controls were super weird. especially fast-paced combat with multiple enemies that surrounding around you is tedious but i've become accustomed to it by now.
I acknowledge their approach of not using the C-stick to aim like conventional FPS games, but the lack of easy look/aim control is a bit detrimental. Considering getting Trilogy for WiiU for when i play MP2. i liked the waggle control in MP3.

The chozo thing was covered in Prime by the pirates (not counting how Other M had the Federation remake Mother Brain but 1000x smaller somehow). Not even the best scientists can reverse engineer that shit to any practical level, they can kinda figure some of it out but most of it is too confusing.

The Old log's don't refer to it as a metroid but something the pirates call metroid prime, as in the pirates are unsure where it came from. They were able to contain it for a bit but it stole their tech which is why it has your beams.
This was retconned so that Cypher couldn't be entered by the pirates, which means you have to assume it either came with the meteor or a metroid got through cypher.
Both concepts are inconsistent, the later being more likely, the former being what was probobally what Retro wanted since Phazon in the games beta was supposed have been metroid honey.
