It was actually really short, but really intense.
I was lying in a bed in some location that was not my room. There was a television in front of me that turned on after a few seconds. On it was that video that channels would play when the world is ending, the one with the military band playing music. Then suddenly very close to me I heard this terrifying scream. A scream I can only describe as sounding like it wanted to devour my soul. I quickly woke myself up. Probably the scariest part came then. I was still in shock from that scream, but when I closed my eyes I saw a bunch of creepy looking eyes staring at me. It's like how an image gets imprinted when you look at light for a while and then close your eyes. I had never had this happen to from a dream so that was really freaky. It took several minutes to completely wear off.
It doesn't sound bad but fuck, that scream was the worst thing I have ever heard.
Sometimes I just gave them the key to leve me alone, take a breath and do it again with success.

It was in Clive Barkers Undying. You get this power that lets you see things hidden or like the true nature of things.
So for example there's a picture of a father and his daughter, i use the power and the picture changes, i see the Daughter, that now looks like a monster chopping his father head off.
I come out of the vision power and i hear a slow breathing in my right headphone, and I KNOW , i know shes there. I turned slowly to the right and like an inch in full scream i see the daughter in monster shape looking at me.
I dont now what happen next because i turned the PC of straight from the power button and run to my garden. (i was like 14)
The strange thing is i then comeback reloaded looked at the picture again (now weapons prepared) but nothing happened, she did not showed up.
Later i learn the game was kind of random, way ahead of its time.

Could be a form of sleep paralysis. I started to get it last year. I open my eyes and I guess I'm on the edge of sleep, so I start to hallucinate but I can't really move. First time it was nothing, I saw a few hundred black moths fly out of my monitor (this was in the morning, sun had come up). Then it was hands reaching for me from the ceiling. Anyway, after the fucker comes back at full force on the screen... that little moment... plus the wuwuwuwu sound it made.
I fucking cried, I was fucking terrified. What's worse its that my cousins would pause it in that moment and they would be all "It's gone bro, you can watch the screen now."it wasnt gone
Another thing that gave me fucking nightmares was when they would play Mortal Kombat on the SNES, I don't remember which one but there was a forest stage or something and there were some trees opening their mouth and going all "bahhhhhh". Creepiest shit ever, I haven't seen it since that time (around 6 years old) and I hope I never do, though now that I'm way older it intrigues me. Also on that same stage I think there was a fucking ninja popping out of the grass or something... that also scared the fucking shit out of me.
Also in street fighter when Dhalsim would win and he did this dance while staring at you shaking his head. I hated it and would cry too.

That reminds me of this old Knytt Stories custom level where there's this giant machine drilling a hole that takes you down into the mouth of this spoopy underground monster. It's fucking ridiculous. I stopped just a couple hours ago after getting through the hospital and man, it's hard not to just laugh at it.
I mean the last enemy I faced before I stopped for the day were haunted wheelchairs who would ram into me, spin around in a circle, the rush back down the hallway. And it was a fucking pack of them, there was like six or seven going up and down the hallway.
I really don't get how they thought this stuff was scary. SH4 has a couple of creepy enemies, but the rest just make me laugh.
I don't know if this is sleep paralysis or what but sometimes when falling asleep I get this weird feeling I dunno how to describe it, like a vibrating metal sound in my ear like something would vibrate really really fast and when it happens I'm aware of it and I begin to see shadows even with my eyes closed and I can't really move, last time it happened I got the sound thing and I began to see white and black shadows that began to form scary but thankfully not too detailed faces. Then they went away and "woke up".
Amnesia when you are finally leaving the cistern, you think you have finally got away and then you hear that fucking whirring sound.

Yesterday I had a dream where I was at some crazy huge party and somehow I lost an arm and a leg, but I didn't give a fuck. And then when I was walking (somehow) away from the party I came to the realization that my girlfriend would never love me like this and started to cry. It was pretty fucking freaky, I woke up happy as fuck that I still had all of my limbs.

Nah, it's fairly easy to think about happy things and pretend you don't notice the oppressive darkness that seems to be almost hungry or the almost humanoid shape at your window that's just slightly wrong in proportions. It's fine, think about being in a field lit with the sun while butterflies flit by and a deer with its baby drink from a stream in the distance, that'll distract you from the suffocating black entity surrounding you and the twitching silhouette in the doorway.

I've experienced lucid dreaming once, and I'm never gonna try and experience that shit again.
I drew what I saw the next day, because of how vivid the memory was, and I had to get it down.
It sucks ass, I know. But it was the most terrifying thing I've ever seen in my life.
It just stood there, staring at me. It never moved out of place, just jittered every once in a while. It also sounded like it was inhaling constantly, with a really bad case of smoker's lung.

Skeleton colonel spooked my guts off.
The first time I got to the clock tower fight in Deadly Premonition, it was about 2am. I was fucking tired but I figured I was so close to the end, why bother stopping now when there can't be more than like half an hour left?
So I did the rest of the game and naturally shit got fucking off the charts mega surreal. I woke up the next morning thinking that I had stopped at the clock tower and dreamed the rest of the game.

Man, only time I've ever been able to get a lucid dream was right after my dog died, she showed up in a dream and caused me to have a eureka moment. I tried to change my location but only managed it for like a second. Then I tried to blast a door off its hinges with my mind, but couldn't get it to work. In SMTIV,I totally thought the REDs that Tayama was giving to demons were aborted fetuses. The first human farm room you go into had a woman unconscious with her legs spread. Then when you talk to kids it talked about moms and dads being separated. I thought women were mass impregnated/raped, fetus was harvested, rinse and repeat.
Not sure what that says about my psyche that I assumed that. Made me feel physically ill though.

I only had a similar dream like that before the above experience (the eyes, the hand), but that time it was outside, in my garden. Fortunately I've never dreamt about the hand choking me again.
