Graphically and animation wise it's miles ahead of what Platinum did, but the cookie cutter environmental destruction and really lack of anything happening at all makes me a little skeptical. It might look better, but it may not have been a better game.

The initial stuff on Rising was a good tech demo for the slicing mechaninc but wouldn't have made for an engaging game by itself. This is the stupidest thing I read in this thread (which is full of low quality shitposting). First of all dodge moves in these type of games always have i-frames and that is for a reason. If every attack that physically touched you would have no fun at all, the game would be frustrating. Secondly OD also has a cooldown which effectively punishes you for spamming it. (The cooldown can in fact be cancelled by activating blade mode after dodging forward, but this does not break the game either, it is a feature intended for expert players). You should try playing on a higher difficulty than normal.
