Whatever the case, could this mean that in the future we'll get a legit homebrew channel that doesn't require any flashcart or anything. For instance, when the wii was first hacked you had to boot up twilight princess and trigger the exploit every time you wanted to load a program. But soon after, that original exploit was used to install homebrew channel, and from that point on, you didn't have to worry about triggering the exploit every time. It'd be pretty sweet to see something like that for 3DS.

In order to play online, you need a .3dz file with it's own Cart ID injected into the header. There are programs that can inject and extract, just google it.
generally, you want to have a Cart ID that no one else is gonna use but there's no real proof that using a public one will get you banned. You can also just make one up and it might work.

I'd suggest picking up Fire emblem 7 and 8 as well if you like advance wars, the GBA ones are the best the series has to offer imo.
For the DS i'd suggest getting all the ace attorney games(Ace Attorney, Justice for all, Trials and tribulations, Apollo Justice: Ace attorney, Ace Attorney investigations and Ace attorney investigations 2 with the fan translation patch) and playing them in chronological order.
Ghost trick is a solod 10/10 which is definitely worth getting as well. 999 is also pretty damn good. Warioware:touch is also reccomendable.

It's a Fat32 issue. Since cards above that come with exFat they can't recommend them. So you just need to reformat as Fat32, which will work all the way up to 2TB, not that SD cards are that large yet.

Do you know what the difference between .cia or emunand is? Do you know anything at all beyond "drag and drop the rom and go"? The sky3ds has higher firmware support because it's simulating a real 3ds cartridge, but what else besides that is worth getting for someone who has a 9.2 3ds or lower when you can install dlc, themes and updates through gateway?
