I feel sorry for the anon who's been trying to design a game character for over 2 years and still hasn't finalized her clothing. Let's design his character for him so we can finally put this matter to rest.
Here are the bullet-points we need to hit:
1. The character is an outcast otaku NEET girl who obtains superpowers and starts fighting crime.
2. The character loves dark and edgy shit, so she dresses up like she's imitating her favorite grim-dark edge-lord anti-heroes.
3. The game is supposed to have a No More Heroes vibe / attitude.
4. Her weapon is a sci-fi scythe that can transform and change its shape. Apparently, this is non-negotiable, so leave if you can't stand scythes.
Ideaguys welcome, drawfriends even more welcome.
5. She needs to have a very unhealthy weight, making the issue of what her gender is moot.
6. She needs to have ideas for video games but zero knowledge and ambition for programming, networking, and fund raising.

Her powers are typical "hack and slash game protagonist" powers. The ability to survive gunshots, the ability to double-jump, becoming invincible for a moment when dodge-rolling, etc.

how did she get her powers? have you actually studied story and character design? they teach this stuff even in the "make your own super hero" articles. Your game currently is going to be marked 'shallow' because all you seem to go for is aesthetic. So as a helpful advice make your character have an actual back story and think about what kind of personality she has. This is important because that determines how her alter ego is going to dress as well. would a character like tomoko from watamote dress in lingerie if she had super powers? would a neckbeard go shirtless if he got a magical sword? (maybe) make your character have an actual personality. make her real. So that this isnt completely bashful, your game engine looked great, what I saw in the other thread. Your animation needs work too though. Looked pretty clunky.

Sorry, I did not get this aspect of her in the previous thread. So she is influenced by a typical game female character... You should make it look like it then. Also, stop those cool kid poses even in the art. She should be enjoying every moment of her powertrip, not posing around. Think about Tomoko who is very much influenced by games. Im sorry if you dont know the anime/manga. Make your character partly fail in imitating a game female hero. Add more comedy. It might work then.
