I already know the levels have to be reworked because if you play Dante in Nero's levels they are unfinishable due to the buster mechanics. They could probably bullshit with teleports anyway.
I think they'll just bring back DMC3 vergil and touch up the graphics, as he was pretty fun to play in the first place. The only thing I can think of is to give him a new style so he can play with summoned swords more effectively or just make up a brand moveset and run with it.

I kinda liked DmC, it's definitely not a bad game on PC. 60FPS responsiveness, great action, even if it is glitchy, and even better choice of characters.
I just hate the design and the music. It's grunge apocalypto and it's pretty boring considering every game post 2011 has been using this style for their "insanity" image.

The DE is basically Capcom admitting Ninja Theory can't make a good action game and that DmC gameplay was full of flaws. I really doubt they'll get hired again.

Well I extracted the sounds and found two motivations. Not sure which one to use though.
In one he says "Now I'm a little motivated!".
And in the other he asks "Where's your motivation?".
Also found the "You are not worthy as my opponent.".

The only time he says he's motivated is during an A-status style meter or higher.
During SS or SSS status he says "This may be fun."
But those aren't his best quotes, the devs kept those out of his in-game battle.
