I'm pretty sure other people liked and played it though.

fucking this. we need a sequel now

Fuck EA for killing Westwood and separately fuck Diablo 2 for overshadowing this masterpiece.
I don't know why people hated it.
I thought it was great craic
I just want an Emperors New School themed platformer. Is that too much to ask?
>>275495087
People hated it? I played the shit out of it.

Does this run well on an n64 emulator? I need my fix and I know a sequel/ re-release is pretty much NEVER EVER territory

>>275494606
Wild 9
Hidden gem back from the golden days of Sierra adventures. You have to explore an abandoned museum containing spooky elemental ghosts. This setting alone would justify a modern remake that isn't generic shootan gaem.

this game desperately needed a multiplayer battle mode where you wrestle as the tit monsters

>>275497651
Just finished this and I'm actually depressed about it.
I haven't been sad about finishing a game since I was a fucking teenager.
It was a really bittersweet ending.
And hell, the combat ain't great, level design is somewhat lacking, and the sewers sucked but the writing, dialogue, and atmosphere more than made up for it.
Trigger warning
Granted, part 3 was kind of mediocre but I choose to believe that Factor 5 could've realized that the walking missions weren't gonna work.
tombi
I don't even know why I get up in the morning.
>>275497928
And Iron Strategy 2, i know.
But IS2 is literally IS1 with new missions and Parkan 2 is a sequel to Imperial Chronicles. And it's pretty bad.

Games really aged not so gracefully. Consolitis is more than apparent, especially in terms of movement. It has good atmosphere but execution is really not that good.
It manages to maintain a genuinely spooky atmosphere despite being a straight out shooter (unlike Dead Space and RE4).
Those burning ash-witches used to terrify me. Loved NPC interactions and overall backstory and lore that you discover via diaries. It was a western horror done fairly well. Not great but well enough.
worst cliffhanger ever

I think an anon before told me that you could get it on PSN classics on the PSP or Vita, if you made a JP PSN account.
>>275498307
The PS2 version of this game is dogshit but I remember loving it when I played it at a younger age.
However the PC version is 100 times better, and it's honestly still a great game even now. The combat is fantastic and I really enjoy the sprawling levels plus the cheat to play as any enemy complete with different movesets.

Oh man that sucks. Only reason I can think of that being canned other then Disney is full of bastards is because it would have been to beautiful for time world.
Sad part is still, after all these years, before and after knowing that, I hold out hope for another one. At least a HD remake, the Duck Tales and Castle of Illusion must have done well enough that if they are looking for more remakes this has to be near the top of the list
>>275495767
