Please, I read nothing but good things about Rayman Legends. I remember getting mad that it got delayed over 6 months or something, but I ended up buying the PS3 version because it didn't have that stupid touch gimmick.

The DK series just got more gimmicky with every iteration.
DKC1 was the best in the series. DKC2 had a few gimmicky levels and you had to get all the DK coins and B coins to get to the most challenging levels. By DKC3, over half the game was gimmicky shit, and it also forced you to get collectibles to get access to the good levels.
I haven't played TF yet but I hope it's more like DKC1.
