The combat is pretty simple to understand and you can do combos in it. There's a wiki that had a small list of combos for some characters but it's not very complete at all.

If they censor assets, you can just replace them(See the original Witcher US release which omitted the topless vampires, dryad, sex cards etc). If a company omitted a single short scene because it was too 'gross' a fan would probably add it back or unlock it.

They've had to lay off employees and have basically lost all relevance. A lot of companies are steering clear of them because they've created such a stigma around themselves due to their abysmal localizations that even Japan has taken notice.
