I'm really surprised no one is talking about this glitch.
It seems a lot of people are experiencing a really bad glitch that makes it where they can only select 6 characters to play as. The glitch apparently blocks out every character except for Sheik, ZSS, Little Mac, Yoshi, Greninja, and Lucario.
I don't know why nobody is talking about this. From what I've seen from playing online it's affecting a LOT of people. I'm making this thread to help spread awareness so hopefully Nintendo can fix this. I can't imagine how bad it is to only be able to choose from 6 characters out of 49.

Guys this glitch is a serious problem. If Nintendo don't do anything quick, and more and more people get this glitch, we could end up having an online almost completely filled with the same 6 characters over and over again! Imagine how monotonous and boring that would be.

No, it's certainly a glitch causing it. Mine seems to be working fine. I can select any of the 49 characters to play as. But I'm really worried because I haven't been able to figure out what causes the glitch yet. I don't know if it's something with the cart after the game gets shipped or if it's something that can happen to a normal cart.

Practically every time I come across one I self destruct both of my stocks because the sheer rage of facing one is unbearable. Shes completely unbalanced. It doesnt help that fact that my main Jigglypuff and 3D are practically countered by her. Want to land a Rest? Good luck, its going to hit the Luma every fucking time. Want to do fucking anything as Dedede? First: you dive into the pit and lose.

My suggestion is just tether their percent. Whenever luma gets hit, Rosalina's percent gets higher and she gets stunned as if the hit had smacked her.
