The problem is that OoT was generally ugly and had lots of pre-rendered areas indoors. Poeple don;'t notice but Majora's Mask was a much better looking game which used the Expansion Pak alot, including a completely redone young Link model. That's just the problem. The moon isn;t an evil moon. It's some cartoony goblin painted grey. Like, it's teeth and angry face expression is exagerrated greatly, and the moon didn't have a rounded nose. It was pointy, and should look pointy, not fat and round an all sides. It's annoying.

Not really if you don't want to bother with it. OoT does have a Master Quest mode that, in addition to the GCN version, mirrors the game and makes enemies do double damage. There's some minor improvements like aiming with the gyroscope, but content-wise it's basically the exact same game as the N64 one. I seriously doubt MM3D will be any different in that sense.

98% of what made Majora's mask dark was its surrealist style. The final boss fight looked like a kaleidoscope and no one would ever call that shit *light*.
