the AWP is a one hit body shot perfectly accurate gun in a game that really has no reason to have that.

it should be 2 to the body and 1 to the head. I'm an ex pro 1.6 player fuck off almost everyone in the scene agrees but nobody says anything because when you git gud with the AWP you can dominate anyone. Pub smashing is a fun pasttime

You have to be holding still in a game where holding still gets you killed to be 100% accurate with an AWP.
People move fast enough with lighter guns to rush an AWP. There's plenty of ways to overwhelm an AWPer.
What the complaint is: "My skill isn't enough to take out another guy with an expensive gun with my own expensive gun."
So buy a shotgun, some flashes and smokes, and go to town.

the AWP is pretty balanced in GO, I don't know what you mean. Maybe it's annoying in deathmatch where economy and positioning is thrown out the window, but in the 5v5 game it's fine.
You can beat an awper with a rifle about half the time if you don't give the awper a favourable situation.

No, CS is only 'popular' because of valvedrones. The game was fine before skins, there were actual community servers and matchmaking timers weren't that bad. If it takes microtransactions to get more people to play it, the game is better off having a small community.

In GO recoil patterns are not RNG, though each will look a tiny bit different because each bullet has a small spread RNG. where to start (mostly concerns smash as a whole)

In pure matches these might not be such big problems but with anything resembling actual platforming, like Smash Run, it's evident that the controls are horrible and full of artificial limitations that only serve to make the movement feel slow and stiff.

Really. Those that can destroy with awp-tier weapons, do, or ignore it in favor of lower-tier weapons as a testament to their skill. Those that can't, say that nobody else should get to and that the skill ceiling should be lowered so that they may feel tall.
