Game was alright.
The first four chapters were really slow and tedious without all the powers. And fuck that temple run bullshit.
From chapter 5 once you have 3 of the powers and you have leveled 'em up it becomes fun. You can do some decent combos.
Game is a little bit short. Just when you have all the powers and can do some interesting stuff it ends. The final boss was alright.
It's fine for a budget title.
I don't give a shit about avatar and I'd give the game a 6.5
For anyone who was discouraged after the first few levels, it gets better.

This game's in a hard place since it's too hard for the casuals that just want to play as their favorite character and do the cool thing with the bending but it's also too easy and/or clunky for people that just want a nice simple action game, like a bayo-lite or something.

The whole game is like that. Every time you counter, it's a QTE of some kind, there's 2 or 3 different kinds that happen (one is that button mash one, another involves pushing the right and left sticks in the direction indicated)
The cell-shading looks much better than I thought it would, but you could never mistake a game in action for a cartoon. The animation required for game to be playable is simply too high in FPS.
