So iv bean playing this game for the past 2 hours and so far its ok.
Dont expect something on the level of bayo or mgr in my opinion its better than Anarchy Rains at least.
The combat is not really that complicated but its not brain dead ether.
Its basically a slightly simplified MGR except you can switch bending stances on the go not like weapon switching in MGR. You do have a dedicated block and doge buttons. Guarding at the right moment is same as perfect parry in MGR only slightly easier and not a guarantied isntantkill on stronger opponents but it is huge damage.
You start the game wit no bending powers because some guy blocked your chi.
So you start the game by PUNCHING PEOPLE.
No seriously you play a beadles Cora who fuckcing kicks and punches people. She can actually destroy CARS TRUCKS AND STONE WALLS USING NOTHING BUT HER BARE HANS.
But as you progress thru the story you gradually unlock bending powers and level them up fro new combos.
Overall my impression so far for the first 2-3 hours of the game which for a platinum might as well however be 1/3 of the entire game is a 7/10.
Keep in mind my opinion might improve as i get new combos and fight new enemies.
Only big minus so far is that some enemies have wonky animation glitches sometimes but its nothing serious and you cant play on the hugest difficulty from the start of the game.

To be fair, Goldeneye was incredibly fucking easy to break. Turn on Golden PP7/Golden Gun, do Factory (second level) and get to the part with Alec. Wait by the door the officer dude that holds up Alec (can't remember his name ATM) and once he opens the door, shoot him with the golden weapon. It breaks the entire sequence.
Alec never surrenders so you and him basically get to go back to back against an unending horde of mooks until you decide to just blow the place.

I love AR, I bought AR for 90 bucks on import to play it early and ride both population waves.
Outside of the first two months in the japanese release and the first two weeks in the US release, the online sucked. AR was completely and totally broken and Sega wouldn't pay for patches that Platinum probably didn't want to make anyway.

She's more of a communist dictator if I've ever seen one.
She pressures towns intoto pleading loyalty because she wants their resources (metal from their mines, for instance), but she does no cruelty to the people afterwards. In fact, people who used to be poor and starve are now safe and living well under her protection.
As far as we've seen, it's the villages leader's who are gonna suffer the most because of her, since they are stripped from their power and negotiation materials.
On the other side, the wannabe king would be absolute garbage. He can't even handle being criticized witout losing it. Under his protection, the Earth Kingdom would be as shitty as it was with his mother as queen.
Given the options, Kuvira is obviously the best choice, but she's no goddess either. In the end both have their issues and people should find the least bad between them. Kinda like real life governments.
