I loved in Charleston SC and have been to Georgia tons of times.
Those towns are filled with much nicer people than anyone in Las Vegas, Sacramento, Palms springs, San Francisco, San Luis obispo.
The only town that had similarly nice people is guerneville, and that's because its just a bunch of stoners.
