I'm tempted to say Pokemon simply because it seems like such an ideal world in every aspect. I mean seriously, the fucking criminal activity is just some assholes stealing Pokemon from little kids.
But if I had to deviate from the obvious shit, probably The Elder Scrolls, specifically Skyrim with it's comfy as fuck cities. Not only is there tons of fantastical adventure shit to be done, but becoming a god wizard seems like a matter of just practicing hard enough instead of being born with the ability.Also there are literal camps filled with orc women outside some cities just a quick walk away, so fuck yeah.
Anyone up for a hard mode? How about making a game real but it has to be a fucked up situation like making Silent Hill or SMT Nocturne real. I personally would pick Dark Souls. Sure, it's hopeless but goddamn would I kill to explore some of those environments in person.

So many people are saying Pokemon, but I don't understand how that would work if it was an actual living, breathing world.
How dangerous are Pokemon actually to both humans and other Pokemon? Would a Rhydon deciding to skewer you just kill you or your Pokemon outright as it logically should?
Is everyone in the universe actually fucking dumb? If so, is it really worth having that so that an average schmuck like you can steamroll everyone in battles?
How does money work in the world? Would you just be stuck at a desk job for your whole life while paying exorbitant taxes so that adventuring kids get free food and housing at every city's Pokemon Center?
I'd still go there just because it's too good compared to the real world to pass up, even if you're stuck as a mediocre battler who eventually becomes a janitor for a local gym.

I think it's safe to assume that the MCs of the games are always prodigies. It's probably really difficult to raise more than a few Pokemon, not to mention expensive. That's why you have people like the 6 magikarp trainer since the expenses for raising them are nonexistent.

It's easy to interpret for some things. Obviously, Pallet Town doesn't consist of two houses and a laboratory and people wouldn't suddenly become Pokemon Masters for knowing about type-effecitveness and balanced teams.
It's harder to imagine how a world with an abundance of dangerous magical creatures would work without making it seem dystopian or completely sci-fi.

According to the anime you'll need to buy one from the store but as long it isn't a relic from another era you can customize it. Stores probably assist you into customizing them as well (duplicate navis for personal use are practically nonexistent in the anime).
