Gayman Crotch doesn't need a reboot, games would be uninteresting without altering him entirely. He would look odd with fluid motion, and the staccato motion he has now doesn't translate well to modern gameplay. His games would be dull, difficult, short, and kidlings would question why he can't turn into an octopus.
ROB doesn't need a reboot, and if he did it would have worked better in the early 2000s where toy robots were cool. He would have been fine as a Gamecube peripheral, but now not so much. I would imagine him being made as a Toys R Us electronic toy that plugs into the TV with AV cables or some shit but I don't think he'd work with the Wii U.
Duck Hunt can be put on the 3DS using the camera like Face Raiders does, even if it does make me dizzy and I'd probably put it down later. If they really wanted to make Duck Hunt fly, put it on the Wii U and make an explorable collect-a-thon a la Banjo-Kazooie. As long as they don't put put Skylanders on it, I'd buy it.

ROB: Make it a space game. You play as ROB who is sent to explore an abandoned space station or something. Have Rob only comment in text after he scans things, sort of like metroid prime, with a tone that would be quiet and reflective. I don't know, maybe a little like Olimar.

The second one on the DS wasn't without flaws but it was at least an 8.0 or something. They didn't launch the third game outside of Japan and there's one on the EShop now that I haven't played since it looks like it's just using the character in some casualcore camera thing.

Reboot R.O.B as a remote control toy/game. You get the physical R.O.B, and a game disc. With the game disc you can play with a virtual pet R.O.B on screen, or remote control your real ROB with the gamepad. There would also be minigames, some of which may incorporate the real ROB. Whenever you win, he does a cute victory dance.
