All too often I hear people complain about Pac-Man's inclusion in smash and that he's a "wasted slot". Why exactly is the forefather/most recognizable mascot of most if not all of our beloved vidya's being crucified by so many people for being in a game collecting some of video game's most iconic characters for battle?

Pac Man Championship Edition DX is so fucking good. Easily the best score attack game in decades.

Because majority of Smash players are Meleefags who bought the game only for the sake of criticizing it and not enjoying it. PAC-MAN is one of the most fun characters in Smash, whiners can whine all they want and cry about the lack of content the game had.

I played it a few weeks ago and it was pretty fun, but I'm not entirely sure what I played was Pac Man. I assume there was a classic mode somewhere, but I just played the normal mode a bunch.

It's not supposed to be like classic survival Pac-Man, it's fast paced and more about learning and routing the perfect path throughout the mazes, pellet-lines and ghost trains that appear. It's really rewarding once you figure out how to make an entire "cycle" of fruits in one uninterrupted swoop.
