She's still pretty damn good. Her one weakness is that she can't take keeps very well. She can destroy bosses though and stunlock like crazy though. My one complaint about her combos is her Triforce beam thing rarely catches a whole group, but I've found that affects a lot of AoEs in this game. Not really. I liked Tetra. Until she was forced into the generic Zelda role.
The only other one with much of a personality was SS's, who was also the least princess-ified of them, other than Tetra. I get the feeling Japan has an internal idea of what a princess is and can't get past it.
I've seen fans try to develop some of the others into having more of a personality, but it takes a lot of reading into the dialogue and scenes to get that. A lot of the problem is that they rarely get screen time that isn't devoted to just explaining problems and solutions to the player. There's rarely any personal time for them to just be human beings.
