The fundamental problem is that if you're making an action combat based MMORPG, there shouldn't be a fucking 200+ ms delay on everything. I sure as shit enjoyed the PVP, when my cooldowns would be wasted because the guy was inside my damage arc, but not really. This also made dodging fucking bullshit.
Worst part is that the community who played this game (and probably still play it) do not even comprehend the fact that there's a delay. They are such fucking turbocasuals that they genuinely can't feel a delay as huge as over 200ms. And even the devs were gooky enough to ban me from the forums for actually pointing out that the game has unbearable delay in it.

They have to create artificial barriers so that people pay for content. The labor point system is what ruined ArcheAge for non-subscribers and there was no way of knowing it until it went large-scale with open beta and now a 5% majority own EVERYTHING in ArcheAge.
Black Desert will be the same, it will be good but there will be something that will stop people from enjoying it to the fullest in order for them to subscribe and people are not ready to subscribe to a free game. I know I won't pay a dime if the game is "free".
It's a shame, I love the cartoony Ratchet and Clank artstyle. I tried so hard to like this game but it bored the fuck out of me.

There isn't any delay. In Korean MMORPGs, at least. Of course problem is they're built for Korea which has insane internal network setup and you get 50-60ms delays during the WORST of days. Rest of the world simply isn't ready for action MMORPGs yet, at least not real action ones.

The gameplay was mechanically terrible--the Engine needed optimized BADLY. The UI guy needed to be fired and have someone willing to work installed in his place (did Carbine nameplates EVER get fixed, or do player STILL TO THIS DAY have to rely on community addon nameplates? That short of shit is unbelievable!)
The game systems were shallow. Yeah, there was crafting, but crafting was a tedious chore and the gear was literally all shit.
Bugs would not be patched, instead Carbine would just make MOAR bugs.
Class balance was nonexistent. PvP was shit. Warplots were nonfunctional. Endgame was listening to a few autismal tryhards talking about how HARDCORE wow used to be--even though WoW was NEVER hardcore, and WoW was popular BECAUSE IT WASN'T HARDCORE!

Economics would be very easy to do, in fact, many players in the last beta did nothing but that.
Playing a straight up Healer would be hard as Pearl Abyss has stated that there is no strict Healer class. However, 4 of the classes have not yet been made playable so I do not know if one will have a play style that would be similar. As of now though, there is nothing that could be considered a Healer. Most of the healing is done through potions and other items. So an Alchemist that specializes in health potions would be the closest thing I could currently see.
