Probably because the most popular Xbox Hueg games have a PC port that any modern toaster can run. That´s a shame, Xbox Hueg had a lot hidden gems and the emulation scene doesn´t care about them.

Okay so i'll probably step on some toes but what the fuck was so special about black? why are the 80 gorillion other ports since not as good? Why black over the original? I never had it, I skipped straight from the original to two, and apparently missed out on a masterpiece.
XQEMU/CXBX is about as close as anyone got from what I've seen.
There were some nice exclusives for the xbox, (Otogi and Otogi 2 for example), but not many compared to the PS2 or Gamecube.
I've always wondered if anyone ever tried to look into and reverse engineer the 360's xbox emulator. (That had quite good compatibility. It's a shame Microsoft abandoned it)

Because I'm a programmer who programs the Xbox emulator and it's a piece of shit documented thing, and for proper emulation, there's a ton of functions that don't line up with PC ones. And no fucking documentation.

Actually, that's been tested too. I believe it was on XP where we had the most success. Nobody really knows why, though. Still, the fact that we can't figure out where half of the registers, functions, and shaders are supposed to be emulated, checked, and all that yet is there, and an older PC won't help.

It's not worth bothering with. Xbox barely had any exclusives that didn't eventually end up on PC. The only exclusives that are really worth giving a shit about are some of the Japanese exclusives.
And ironically, one of the main reasons people buy the original Xbox today is because it's perfect for running emulators. Soft modding it is even easier than the PS2.
For the past few years I and a small group of my associates have been attempting to form the foundations for the creation of a working Playstation 3 emulator. The point we are at right now shows promise, however it will still be a few more years before we are ready to release our project to the public. While I cannot go into specifics at the moment, I can give you a rough ETA of around 6-8 years at this rate.

A lot of people have said the Steel Battalion controller would be perfect for Star Citizen, since it has two joystick, a throttle, pedals and a shitton of buttons. There are even hacked PC drivers for it. Like you said though, it costs more than a PS4 on eBay, which is a damn shame.

There were a couple of really good Sega games on Xbox that I wanted back in the day, but I am just holding out for them to get HD rereleases. My PS2 controller has always been shit because I got it used when I bought the system. I opened it up to clean it, and it had a band-aid inside to hold it together.
