It wasn't even just the Cinematic Trailer, everything about the entire opening sequence of the game, right to those fucking opening credits. From the presentation to the Music, it was fucking stellar.
It's rare for the opening of a game to completely suck me in to the point where I would have played the rest even if it went to complete shit, and Human Revolution had that feeling (Although thankfully it didn't go to shit).

consider getting darthmod after completing the vanilla campaign - it overhauls most of the game without going too farunlike most "realistic" mods in which you'll have 300 men shooting other 300 men at 60 paces and kill 1 or 2 guys after delivering a mass voley

If one unit is charging another that's stationary (because it's already in combat) they do a retarded thing where all the soldiers stop 5 feet in front of the enemy. Then like 10 guys walk out and engage in 1v1 fighting until they die, more soldiers step forward as they die, etc.
