And now they're really going all out for Xenoblade X, and since Xenoblade exceeded their expectations it's a pleasant surprise.

Little Mac is a retro character from an IP that, even before the reboot, was fairly well known because of the stole my bike meme if nothing else. Punch Out is a classic.
Meanwhile almost no one knows or cares about Custom Robo, and it won't get the treatment Punch Out did for a number of reasons, including

>It was never popular
>It's not old enough to be considered retro
>It's not new enough to get in based on relevancy/there hasn't been a new game in several years
Heck, Punch Out is probably THE worst series to compare it to to make it seem like Custom Robo getting another rep was likely. It has the benefit of being both retro AND getting a recent revival, and Little Mac was one of the most requested characters alongside Shulk, Mega Man, and Ridley. I can't even say a vocal minority wants Ray, THAT little people want him.

Now you're just making excuses. They didn't market Xenoblade PERIOD, at least in America, but it was still a resounding success.

I managed to win a good amount of online matches with Flare + Geo Trap + Feint. It's really easy to lock people down if you can bully them near a wall and force them to take a hit if you use big bombs and fast pods to pressure them.
