But multiplayer in FC2 and 3 was so shit there was no point in making maps for it so no real community ever formed. This is one of my biggest problems with games where you have a "choice". The choices rarely actually allow you to carve out a distinct position on an issue in the game without the game still telling you which position was "right". Fallout/Bethesda games are generally good about this, but it's not that common.
For most games it's "You can make this choice or that... but we'll be sure to force down your throats beforehand which choice is good and which one is EVUL". That shit isn't good art. It doesn't stimulate thought. It tells you what to think.
