There are exactly four pieces of cover, you start behind one, with no rocket launcher, and the only way to get to the next, which has a Bazooka, is to jump over your curent bit, land on the ground, then either crawl or get up and run to the next
On the higher difficulty settings the auto cannon can two hit kill you, meaning its easy to lose yourself into a corner trying to figure a way through

I dunno, I liked the limit since the animations were so nice. Seeing Max drop two guns to roll and pick up a shotgun, then switch to a backup pistol and sling the shotgun low while he runs is pretty fucking cool. Makes it feel like he's just going for the nearest weapon to defend himself. MP1+2 magic pockets are fine too, but it made things easier as well imo.

It is possible to kill them with one shot. I have done it several times. It seems to be a matter of aiming for the neck/chin and hoping the hitboxes agree. Failing that, there's an exploit where you can mash reload during a shootdodge to fire your guns as fast as you can press R and M1. It drops those guys in moments.

It adds charm and makes a character so much more belivable when you see him struggle with weapons while reloading.
You might be still be in the arcade era mindset, but I got past that and I rather see something more human.
I will always prefer a well executed weapon limit than a lazy ass way of doing it.
Hate it or love it but people in 10 years, when talking in "technology threads", will mention this thing.
