Anyway, tearing clothes have been in anime and manga since a long time ago, I remember when he had clothing dissolving potions, clothes targeting weapons and other 90's anime gags involving clothing destruction in general, it's nothing new really.

It's not about an armour break cutscene being spank material in itself, it's about having fast-paced and physically exciting gameplay with cheesecake mixed in. This gets you going and then you go have a proper fap to actual porn once your motor's running. Or cheesecake is just pleasant to look at and enjoy.
Although the pictures don't do a whole lot for me. The VN sections of Senran Kagura are pretty damn good at presenting innocent(ish) situations in dirty ways, and have some very good VA for it. Though Haruka's thing about turning people into dolls and having a bunch of gimps in her basement is pretty much my fetish.
