Once you beat the intro story once with one character, any other characters you make on that save have the option of skipping right to the talisman hunt and level 15. Also Quests that you have beaten with one character can be skipped by the others, but they only get the skill points, no gold or EXP if they choose to skip them.
Basically power leveling up a new character is a breeze, but if you are only level 14 you probably arnt half way done yet, boss count is about to double

In most cases yes, I used elf in my first playthrough, and pretty much it's a lifesaver when you run out of arrows, mostly when you are in lower levels, also amazon in lower levels could use it too, for the rest it's pretty much shit

Well that's your way to have fun, mine is to go slow and steady and keep an eye for good runes spells like phoenix, double score, PaD and TTF when you are just starting a new character, also mostly of time I've found GOTTA GO FAST faggots they miss stuff like The Skeleton Key room, several chest and Phoenix incantation spells, and they are the first to fall and spend gorillions getting revived or fucking it up in bosses with a gimmick, like the rushing the Wraith instead of picking a torch.

It's playable solo, but there are definitely some spots in the game that are frustrating to do alone with certain classes.
And there's NPC's you can party up with or just use as fodder. But it's really good when you play multiplayer with some good friends or people who aren't fucktarded.

You should honestly try this, and hear me out on it. Deep into late game, you can get an item that allows your dodges (L button I believe) to cause an explosion where you were. Deal like 100 power damage. Not too weak but not too strong. If you have that item COUPLED with an item that has a stat that INCREASES YOUR INVINCIBILITY FRAMES WHEN DODGING plus you have skill points in BONUS DODGE COUNT, you can literally kill a boss by dodging all over the place.
It's rad as hell.

Not really though. Think about it. His fighting attacks don't change when he's barefisted. The hammers he's using are just like... enhanced punches. They add weight and hardness to the impacts. Have you noticed his forearms and fists get a "stoneskin" effect whenever he's attacking? That's because he's literally just smashing you to death with his fists of granite.
He's not swinging them, he's almost using them like a roll of quarters in his hand or a set of brass knuckles

It's really not. Air charge shots stacked with Impact is where all your real damage is. The only late game use for Rapid is one level to quickly kill mages, but that's still not necessary.
