It's... weird. It's definitely low-budget, but the Golden scenes are pretty true to the game. You basically need to have played the game/watched the original anime all the way through first, though; it full out skips very important parts of the story because the anime's purpose is so you can have fun with your old friends.
I don't get what the point of the Adachi episode was, though. I've only seen the original anime and am getting through the game. Pleb, I know. So can Adachi just not hold a relationship and lacks social skills? Or is he just a misogynistic psychopath that lives in his own sheltered bubble that gets disturbed easily when things don't go his way?

Kanji had the hardest dungeon in the game by far.
Everything could 1 hit you regardless of level. Those rocks, the tigers, they all raped you in a not fun way.
The boss wasn't too hard for me besides Shadow Kanji himself and his fuckton of HP.
Namatame was barley a boss and the "final" boss of persona 4 was insanely, insanely challenging and hard.

It's a bit dated, but it's still fun. But you find a battle every three damn steps, so it get's a bit tedious, but the battles are usually easy and you don't ever have to grind. Also Persona fusion is unnecessary if you make the right decisions in the plot. Also remember to buy innocent sin portable and not eternal punishment.
