>The latest Sonic game for Wii U will see two new “fan favourite” characters added – that’s according to the game’s developer Big Red Button. Speaking to GamesTM magazine earlier this month, creative director Bob Rafei said how wonderfully fun it was to explore different parts of the Sonic universe, whereby coming up with new designs was very important for prospective fans, particularly in relation to Knuckles “as the power-based character when looking at the ensemble team”.
>As a teaser to fans, Rafei also mentioned that two firm-favourite characters would be added to Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric. No hints were dropped as to who the characters would be, saving speculation for the fans instead. Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric will arrive for Wii U this November. Here’s what the creative director said in relation to the upcoming game:

Well Metal Sonic was found in one of the 3DS trailer, and I'm gonna guess the other one will be Shadow.
