I went a head and passed on this title, it's doesn't look nearly as good as KT's previous titles.
DW8XL looks better and probably plays better too.
Can't believe a series (musou) know for its large variety of characters (dw8 has 83 fuckign characters) is okay with selling a game with a laughable 13.
Also some of the redesigns are awful, screaming look at me I'm an original redesign. (see sheik, Ganon) while others like Link they just threw a scarf on him. (Can't hide their love boner for Zhou Yun)

Musou is only know for its large roster because it's built it up over years of rehashes. It's why Ultra SFIV has 44 characters, it sure as fuck didn't start out with that many.
and don't forget characters have multiple weapons, so that's multiple completely different movesets as well.
Also, the addition of a roll I think will actually make the game more interesting. I've always said DW needs more defensive options so that they can make the enemy's offense more complex.
