The only ones I've played are Ikaruga and LO for like 15 minutes each, Ikaruga was fun but all SHMUPs are the same to me and LO was just a demonstration of how badly turn-based RPGs work on modern systems.That first fight with the huge, slow war machines was frustrating as fuck, my guy had a good 10-15 seconds to take two steps to the left and that machine wouldn't have hit him
