The atmosphere, music and design is the best, but i did like what dark souls 1 and 2 did with gameplay and clothing physics.

Demons souls is a boring, unfinished, uninspired kings field derivative with a less imaginative director who didn't really know what he was doing, and didn't have experience with the previous kings field series.
Dark souls was somewhat more realised and interesting, but still lacked focus and was generally uninteresting due to a huge rushed schedule.
Dark souls 2 is a polished, quality game that bought back core values of what makes games like this truly special, and I for one congratulate the team and Naotoshi Zin on accomplishing that.

Nope. They're still up. According to a former Atlus PR guy (during a throwback sessions where they were playing Demon's Souls on Twitch recently), he said the servers would continue to be online indefinitely.

Maiden Astraea/Garl and Flamefucker will always be one of my favourite boss battles.
I thought the world, animations, and general variety was better than DaS, but DaS had a better mechanical foundation.
Every time I play one I wish I was playing the other.

I played the shit out of Demon's Souls, so I was totally burned out by the time Dark Souls came out.
I had to force myself to get all the way to Quelag just to prove myself against the "git gud" crowd, but I lost interest immediately after. It's a good game, I just don't find enjoyment in it anymore, so I'm ambivalent toward Bloodborne's release

Who's the best boss and why is it False King Allant?
After leaving it sitting on my PS3 for months from PS+ I decided to give it another shot. I'm having a lot of fun with it but I kind of wish there were more people online. I love the worlds in Demon's souls especially the tower of Latria,
It's weird how some bosses range from easy to ridiculous. I went from confidently dicking all over the Tower knight to getting my shit stomped in and only just clutching out a victory, after using all my healing items, with the Flamelurker.
