It's not bait. I'm replaying Ocarina for the first time in 15 years, and it's every bit as enjoyable now as it was then.
The only problem I've had was the camera, but I got used to that again after about half an hour.
The game is pretty much flawless. It's only real drawback being the tediousness of the Water temple, whereby switching on and off the Iron boots required multiple pausing and subscreen navigation. Same with the hover boots.
Other than that, the game is as close to perfection as videogames have been.

I hope you're trolling, anon. TLoU is one of my favourite games, but the story is a big part of that. It's a great game, but it's pretty limited in terms of it's gameplay variety. That's ok. it does what it does well.
But Ocarina of Time had so much more variety in terms of gameplay mechanics, enemy types, puzzles, item usage etc. and it all slotted together in perfect harmony.
OoT is a videogame masterclass. TLoU is a cinematic game with good design, production values and decent gameplay.

Mario 3 hasn't really aged though due to it's very nature as a 2D platformer. OoT clearly has as an early 3D adventure game.
