Friendly reminder that the English translation of Quantum Devil Saga just went on sale. It's a novelization of DDS by the original writer who became ill just after the first game finished pre-production, and it's going to follow the original vision he had for the story. Basically Atlus had to come up with a different ending because the writer couldn't do any work, so I'm sure the novels will go in pretty different endings.
So you all need to buy the first book, so we can get the remaining four.

It doesn't make much sense. When using side attacks you have to press forward in a direction. It's not possible to press backward like in most fighting games since you can turn around in smash.

I don't know how that'd work, though. The only reason why you get two air normals is because you're stuck facing one direction in the air to preserve your momentum. If you go left after jumping to the right, you'll still face towards the right. Otherwise, when you change directions on the ground, you automatically turn to face that direction.
