If allowed, it could effectively create a new universe.In the facility, due to the weird spacetime fuckery, its effects are not realised onto the world. The nature of its confinement means it is constantly absorbing ink from a different SCP, extending the history of the civilisation far into our future. If taken out of the facility, it would rewrite the universe.One of the contingency plans for end-of-the-world scenarios is to do so, and hope that the new universe wouldn't be so shit.Therefore, SCP-682 can actually be destroyed, but it would rewrite everything else in existence at the same time.
