Instead of items and such he gave me tips and endured my idiotic questions about the game and when I was ready for it even took me in to the guild he was an officer in.

I would like to play with you guys. We had a /vg/ guild on Ragnarok 2 that was a blast. We went on an ethnic clearing conquest in the PvP conquest area and took on several big name guilds with like 15 people and usually upwards of 30-40 on the other side.

It seems like whenever you join a server (in any game, really) there's always that guy everybody knows. It's not because he's good at the game, or because he's nice to everybody.
It's because he's a self centered shitbag who has to be the center of attention at all times. He probably has some sort of special title, like DONATOR in big flaming letters, and there's always somebody sucking up to him, usually several people competing for his attention.
If you're playing an FPS with server wide voice, he will be conducting all communication through this, even if everybody else is typing in chat.

For example in RIFT there's these neon lights you can use. I would stack up on about 200 of them. Hop on a bear mount and I was the Defiant Police. I had macros to signal sirens "REEERO REEEEEROOO" and I would press keys to alternate between using red and blue neon lights.
I'd do this while chasing down people who had PvP active. It was great.
