What started as Nintendo theme park discussion turned into a campaign to get Nintendo's attention on this. We need as much help as we can get.

The goal is simply to get their attention. Miyamoto has hinted at making it happen someday. This will be a full-blown campaign for Nintendo to see how much fans would like for this to happen. We're simply trying to spark some interest and see where things go.
We need:

We're going to have to plan an official date to get this going. We'll post messages and drawings on Miiverse, get Twitter trends going, and so on.We'll start on Twitter a day or two before, to get it snowballing and hopefully have a good trend going by the time by start posting on Miiverse.

we're aware of that. What we need to do is first just get the idea to Nintendo. Spark some interest. From that, maybe they could consider it and think of some ideas on how it could work.
Also, it's not like it needs to be a full-blown billion dollar theme park right away. They could start small and make it bigger as it gets more popular.

to do the bare minimum theme park, it would cost between 900k to 1.5 billion. this is bare bones rides with light to moderate nintendo theming.
im thinking two good, well-themed rides, two six flags type major rides, one good themed restuarant, a handful of smaller rides (bowsers teacups and shit)
it would cost about 3-4 billion dollars to do something 100% within theme and with the latest technology

It's a good read for anyone interested in the concepts in this thread. It's based less around using game properties for traditional rides, but the concepts are interesting and could be used for Streetpass type things, special perks for park visitors, etc.
