>>254420410
A PS4
>prebuilt
>400 dollars
>play most modern games
nigga this must be bait.
>>254420410
PS4
One you stole from someone who paid a real amount of money.
>>254420410
PS4
>>254420803
But in all seriousness this is my speccy, and the only two games to have given me any framerate issues are The Witcher 2 with ubersampling and Sleeping dogs with 16x AAI'm unable to notice any difference between 4x and 16 or even 32x AA however
>modern games
what is wrong with modern /v/?
>>254420803
>>254420864
>>254420917
I already own a ps4 but /v/ is always talking about pc mustard race
>>254420410
PS4.
Seriously. Who the fuck buys prebuilt PCs? Are you 50?
>>254420803
>implying the PS4 is on par with PC

This is what neo/v/ want you to belive

PS4
>>254421048
see >>254420981
I was going for a clever first post.
>>254420803
>that can play most modern games
>>254421070
He wants a prebuilt, at least read what OP said.
>>254420410
If you don't mind pirating windows and willing to learn and build it yourself( which is piss easy) it is possible.
>>254421143
PS3
>prebuilt
Why would you ever
You've got the internet, you can teach yourself just about anything
PlayStation 4
>>254421097
>ps4
>games
>>254421070
>build
You should read the OP, champ
ever notice how it's ALWAYS sonyponies who start these arguments?
>>254421253
>This so much
Fuck I don't even like working on cars, but i'll use the internet to fix and replace any problem with my car for 1/10 what the mechanics quote me.
>>254421839
But they didn't start an argument. They suggested a playstation system and PCtards came in waving their epeens around.
OP here
Heres a old shitty desktop I have
Is it any good?
AMD dual core 3.5ghz
gt 610
4gb ram
vista 32 bit
>>254421839
Did you even read the thread?
>>254422017
What is the argument, faggot?
>>254420410
If you need a laptop for school etc as well, I recommend this. Its $60 more but being reasonable with your budget, this is one of the best options, unless you want a desktop. I got this for school and while it doesn't replace my rig, it preforms fine playing most games on medium settings.

>>254422181
I've seen prebuilt desktops that are only 200$ that run better then that.
>>254422398
Thanks for the ONLY contribution in this thread
Yeah, I am about to go back to shcool and need a work computer with small games on the side
Nothing bg, stuff like rust or counter strike
A laptop would be aright, but they can be pretty pricey
I also would prefer a desktop since im a animator and laptops are very uncomfortable with a tablet and stuff
>>254421839
I'm >>254420803
I don't even have a PS4. I have an X360, PS3, PC, Gamecube, and N64.
Just wanted to start something
>>254422690
You asked for pre-built there is no helping you.
OP here is this a good desktop?

It works fine for me, I have a whole setup where i hook it up to my TV and use it as a dual screen. I also animate and shit like that, Its a little clunky for maya but I needed a laptop.
>>254423079
nigga thats a computer case, no parts inside of it
>>254423079
please stop.
how about you just delete this thread and google logical increments? save yourself the embarassment dude cmon.
Shits pricey as fuck in canada
I want to make a solid gaming computer for 600$
and it's easy to do so in burgerbucks
but in beavertails shits 200$ more
>>254422690
You asked for a pre-built you fucking faggot, what did you expect? Legitimate answers?
>>254420410
>prebuilt
Cheaper to build your own, son.
Check youtube tutorials.

"What is five seconds in google."
>>254426134
Building a computer makes it sound way more complicated than it is.
When I thought of "building" a computer I imagined tons of tiny parts that I had to know how they all worked.
Realistically it was buy a tower with a motherboard in it, plug in shit where it fits and then connect it all to the powersupply, screw in some extra fans here and there and seal it up
>>254420410
An Xbox One.
It doesn't exist.
My computer's a prebuilt and it works for what I use it for, but what I use it for is small indie games and browsing /v/, and not much else.
I'm still considering building a better one. I don't know shit about building computers though, and if I did I'd just want a mid-tier one that could run games like sonic generations and dustforce with no slowdown. Not much else.
Is there a site out there with a bunch of PC building ideas sorted by price? That seems like the kind of thing people would get super into.
>>254426872
YES SIR
http://www.logicalincrements.com/
>>254427265
Thank you.
Although I now feel like an asshole since that's on the /g/ sticky.
Not OP but my computer's a godawful prebuilt. What parts of this could I salvage for a new computer and how much would you guess it'd cost to build something semi-decent?
>>254427701
the hdd, put the rest in the bin
>>254420410
Use this as reference. It's Alittle over 500 but make adjustments. It's my budget build I wanna put togeather. Feed back?
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/zHR6pg
>>254427938
I figured as much.
Again I know jack shit about building PCs so what do
find something on craigslist
>>254428274
the tax + delivery will push you 100-170$ more
>>254428974
see
>>254427265
Just learn as you go.
>>254429039
as much as I want to buy used parts
don't trust them
>>254428274
might want to get different RAM, that cooler wont fit with high profile RAM
>>254428974
learn how, learn the bits, the good manufacturers and your budget, it is really very simple
>>254429050
Not where I live. Most of the stuff you can spend the extra 5$ for the item on Newegg and get it free shipping from what I've seen.
>>254429173
You must have had a lot of mother issues growing up, then
>>254420410
>prebuilt
stopped reading there
>>254429173
If it makes you feel any better, me and everyone I know who has used craiglist has had nothing but positive experiences. I've never bought PC parts, though.
>>254427265
So you just find the one your budget can fit and buy all that shit? Am I reading this right?
>>254429592
yes, buy from good manufacturers and follow a guide while building
Not prebuilt but this will do.
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/BdQBGX
>>254429592
yes and no
research your parts and shit
this is a good guide but it shows if you have a bit of extra $ you can move up
or if you find one that's on sale you can see how it ranks
also use pcpart picker- that site is based for organization, rig building/ part lists and tracking of prices
>>254429792
Alright, cool. One last question, how high should you go just to be able to run modern games fairly well? I'm no graphicsfag but I want it to actually work at a steady framerate that's at least 30FPS.
I'm sorry for all this shit but I'm going from a godawful prebuilt to something that I want to last me at least a few years and I know literally nothing about PC building.
>>254422181
Sorry, but it's absolute shit.
>>254429989
I'd recommend reading up on parts, picking and choosing using one of those as a template, if I built my pc from the first lot of parts I picked it would be shit
