Smite back in it's early beta had an outer jungle and had the audacity to rotate it's lanes 45 degrees because it wasn't a mod (see pic). Players from other MOBAs complained about the outer jungle and how they should just make the inner jungle more viable, and they still dislike the rotation of the map.
The amount of BRs who start feeding and complain about not knowing which lane was which because there is no top/bot and you have to base it off tower distance is silly.

TA was a vastly superior RTS. Problem is it had zero marketing and was outshined by SC, despite it being an inferior game. Much like Betamax was beat out by VHS despite being better equipment, so RTS has not gone the way of massive scale, true-to-life battles, but has instead crunched itself into the arena of RTTs and MOBAs, never to rise again.
