The fact is they're rentals, plain and simple. At least with the 360's GWG you keep those games forever. I've downloaded at least five full-retail and several arcade games, and they would have run me at least $50-60 if I had bought them all outright. Still not great, I'd rather just not pay for XBL, but still miles better than PS+'s rentals. Anything you'd actually want to keep on PS+ you're basically going to be buying twice. Once for the PS+ rental, again when you actually buy it.

These are all games that anybody can just go out and buy at any time, and all of them are relatively cheap compared to most games. And of course half of them can be emulated.

And at least they're upfront about market research and it's only about their games.
