The only place you can get even half-decent screenshots from is the WiiU version, but even that one ends up with some weird shit due to crazy rendering stuff.

The game is basically 1/2 RPG Beat-Em-Up Adventure and 1/2 Arcade Beat-Em-Up. The Coliseum is basically the Dressrosa tournament with a slightly silly (and more farcical) storyline. You fight boss characters/playable characters, fight enemy hordes, and play Boss Rush mode alongside special event matches that progress the phoned-in story. Playing and unlocking shit in Coliseum unlocks a bunch of boss characters as playable (like Buggy and Shanks and Hancock) and special quests in the main story to play as those characters.
It also gives you a fucking assload of items so you never have to grind for shit in the main story mode. I'd recommend playing the first chapter of adventure mode, clearing the coliseum story, and then doing whichever you like. It's seriously a godsend to not go material hunting and waste your time early on in adventure mode when they give you that shit for free for doing less boring things like playing a Sanji + Girl team 3 times.
