I played the shit out of it and loved it, but I know it was kinda flawed. It just had lots of nice little details and variety.
There was too much repetative shit, like having to buy a certain vehicle to progress. So you had to farm a fuck ton of coins to move on.
All other parts of the game was great though.

I fucking loved it. Pretty sure I 100% it 7 or 8 times and it never got old. Really the only complaint I think anyone could garner is that the maps are practically circles with some offset areas to explore. But the way they fit everything from the series into those maps was pretty great I thought. The vehicles were all unique and handled very differently. The game also had a pretty nice difficulty. There were some missions from hell though.
Also Bart's room in level 7 still 3spooky5me.

A friend of mine bought the Wii version, we played it for a bit. It's atrocious. Gameplay is awful. The whole game felt kind of uninspired, and like they were just trying to cover up the deficits with references and in-jokes.

My biggest problem with it was that I kept rushing, because I thought the timer would go out on me. Was much easier when I just slowed down and made fewer driving mistakes since the game refreshes your timer every 4th of the way there

Are you serious? There are like 2 or 3 mission types in the whole entire game. You're either collecting objects within a certain time limit, or doing some variation on "follow the car" (which may entail picking up objects behind them or damaging them).

I'd say 9-12 is okay, you can still find a few decent episodes (Computer Wore Menace Shoes, Trilogy of Error, Hungry Hungry Homer) but there's some shit in there too, and you can feel the decline
