I honestly can't remember a single thing about the story or the characters. All I remember was the gameplay. That may seem like a credit to MP 3, but it's only for games that aren't trying to share a legacy with games like MP 1 and 2. I expect more out of Max Payne games.

The game basically fucked up a nice two part series that concluded all the loose ends for what amounted to a side-story with no point.
The main family gets killed off in a series of pointless murders. My only issue was just how everything linked together in the game.
I still have no idea what the fuck the organ trafficking scheme had to do with the corrupt cops and the one brother's scheme to take over the family, and why this one family was suddenly the key to a countrywide conspiracy.

Mona is alive in MP3 as well. You can turn on one of the TVs and hear her voice actress narrating a commercial, and Max says "I must be losing it."
