I just watched The Raid: Redemption for the first time (I know, 2 years too late), and now I'm itching to get the adrenaline out with an FPS full of cramped corridors, big guns, and tense, bloody firefights. What does /v/ play when it's on the high you get after a really good action movie?Also, before you list any of them, I've played the hell out of the Doom, S.T.A.L.K.E.R., and Counter Strike series already.

I figured as much. The Raid was nice, compact little film that existed solely to show off kickass close-quarters action scenes. Throwing in a sequel with a much broader scope hoping to keep the magic of the original just sounded too ambitious to really work.

First time I played FEAR I didn't know about the slow motion shit. If it said something about it I missed it, or possibly I started the game, and put it away for a while and forgot. I played for quite a while just playing duck and cover tactics not really getting why it was so popular. Then I accidentally hit the slow motion button, and the game became so much more fun.
