Part of the reason why KH1 is my favourite game of all time, as opposed to the other entries is because the game was designed to immerse you in each world you visited, which was achieved by structuring each of the worlds like a maze, with each area linking to one another via multiple entry points and with hidden sere cuts to be found.This just made the worlds feel more expansive and thus more real.
