Is there a reliable website to get PS1 Eboots for PSP? I've tried Emuparadise and, while having a great selection, the download rate there is killing me. I usually get 2mbps, but I've only been getting 100kbps there.

Also, PSP thread. Are y'all niggas still playing yours or have most of the Sonyfriends moved on to Vita?
>>
>>248401237
you could just download ps1 roms and convert them yourself
it isn't difficult
>>
>>248401237
Emuparadise has been pretty good for me in the past, don't know why your down speeds are so slow.
Try piratebay?

Converting PSX isos into EBOOTS is pretty easy too.

I have a vita but I still keep my PSP around. There are still games for it I haven't played yet and I would prefer to play them for free. Especially these nipponesse ones I'm not totally familiar with.
>>
>>248401352
I'm autistic about this. I want the official eboots that were from PSN, with the digital manual, te backround and everything
>>
Why not do it yourself?

Google PSX2PSP

Unless you're talking about when the music doesn't play and if there's patches for it if so then I'm interested as well.
>>

I honestly wasn't aware you could do that. I've only recently gotten back into PSP, so I suppose I'll look into that. I already have a good collection of Playstation ISOs on my PC, so getting them shouldn't be an issue.

>>248401593
I'm pretty much in the same boat. I'd love to have a lot of PS1/PSP games on my Vita, but I don't have the memory for it and 30 bucks for the digital version of Ace Combat X seems kinda steep, while I got a 32gig memory stick for PSP for about 10 bucks.
>>
>>248401237
>Vita

lol

Anyway, there's a thread on pspiso.com to download directly from sony's servers and they have a bunch of PS1 games. You need to register though.
>>
>>248401945
Yeah it's a simple process. I forgot the name of the program but it's as simple as dropping your ISO in and hitting convert. You can customize the icon/background/music clip played as well if you feel like it.
>>
>>248401945
Yeah it's easy and you can add the autism backgrounds/icons.

But some games didn't have music for me:

Private torrent trackers. Some of the video game specific ones died last year, and I don't know which ones are active today, but their selection and reliability should be a lot better than some shady ad-filled site.

I used to be on underground gamer. Their collection was a mess, but they did have a lot of good stuff. I think blackcats games is still around.

General purpose entry level trackers like torrent leech should have a decent selection of games too.

1000 is the only model where you can install the latest CFW permanently and not have to run the eboot every time your restart you PSP, and it also has an IR blaster for changing channels and fucking with people in public areas.

It doesn't have the extra ram, but nothing really needs the extra flash on the PSP, all the emulators for anything worth playing work fine with the small flash.

It was a .cso but it worked fine on a Sony memory card

Other games I noticed some slowdown even though they were isos were Project Diva (all 3) and Type-0 (although I never tried them on a official memory card, it could be the game itself)

Does changing the clock speed make any difference at all? How about that memory card speed up in the recovery menu?
>>
>>248412101

Yeah, convert VCS back to ISO. It'll run buttery smooth, better than UMD.

Changing the clock speed changes the bus speed also, so it could feasibly improve ms load times. Not massively. It will improve CSO a lot though, given that decompression is on the fly by the CPU.

Say what ever you want about the 1000 or Sony in general, but one thing you cannot say is that the first PSP wasn't built great or felt like a really high end device in your hand. Opening that box and pulling that thing out in 2005 was amazing for me, it felt like the future had arrived. Much better than the DS, that is for certain.

My PSP has this discolouration around the screen edges. I hear that is pretty common for the 3000.

I do like the audio quality tho. Good enough for portable games while I'm on my bed. The stock battery is pretty ok too I think. I don't play on it long enough for the battery to run out.

I do want a Go, but I don't really have a use for it since I never play backups. How is the screen on the Go compared to the 3000? Is it better?
>>
>>248412823
DS felt like opening a rock, DSi was much better

>>248413178

Same quality, resolution but smaller. That's it. If the higher DPI is worth the smaller size, then go for it.
>>
>>248413178
Mine still stands strong. You can easily replace the screen anyway if that ever happens, it's just 4 or 5 screws away

I guess the Go screen can't be much better than 3000. However, the button layout sucks for games where you need to claw (MH, Type-0 and KH)
