Okay fo realz, I bought the game on a whim because the story sounded interesting and I'm a crazy person that likes diablo-like dungeon crawlers and thinks grinding is a peaceful and fun activity.
Behind the overly complex mechanics lies very basic hack-n-slash gameplay that only changes a bit with the addition of the tochkas, plus the game will randomly crash which sucks since you can only save in-between stages. However, the story and characters really made the game and I fucking love it. It starts as a cute thing with a bunch of quirky characters and at the end it just goes fucking nuts. Plus EVERYTHING is voice-acted if you change the voices to Japanese, only major cutscenes are voiced in the dub.
btw the grinding's not that bad, once you get to chapter 12 you can just use the blade tochka on the slimes in the corridor in the castle. Took me about a day to get to level 99 on three facets.fuck Lucchini
