Deus Ex Magikoopa 2: Fire & Ice
AF76-0000-0115-56D4

More Metroid than Mario, this course is a big adventure with a flashy ending. It's somewhat challenging, but there are no cheap deaths.

Check out the prequel on my profile. It's a little harder, but it's also a little shorter.

If anyone beats any of my Magikoopa courses, I'll play everything you've made.

I'm pretty sure that I've played these, but I'll check again soon. I played everything from last night's thread, and I'll play anything posted in this thread either tonight or tomorrow.

i think blok crusade wasn't in the last thread though

I'll check it out in a few minutes.

I had beaten it before, but it's not in my last 100 stars. I'll play your courses again.

MegaMario Wily Castle 1: 506A-0000-0113-D989

This is the latest in a megaman-esque campaign I've been making. If you like it make sure to check out the others from my profile and/or follow me for more. I'll be restructuring every stage(including checkpoints) after it's all finished, so let me know if you think anything needs changing. Any and all feedback is appreciated and I'll always return the favor.

Still working on the wily 2 boss. Turns out barriers count towards the enemy limit and this has presented a small problem. Uploading this stage also might take some time after the fact as well, as this one is nice and lethal. After this it's wily 3 and then I'll reformat the boss rush and wily machine courses that I made forever ago.

Alright, I beat and starred all three again. Can you give mine >>320191060 a shot? Not a lot of people are playing anybody's courses lately.

>>320192837
I'm looking forward to your next one. Beating Wily Castle 1 was tough but satisfying.

Sup dude, I had been wanting to ask what you thought of my levels. Hopefully, some of them weren't too hard, cause I have a lot of levels that can be considered hard.
>>
>>320194169
your right i played some of them and they where shit
>>
>>320194541
Beat and starred. That was fun.

>>320194991
Thanks, man. The reupload just fixed a small problem in a secret area, so it's not much different. Give it a shot when you have a chance.

>>320195206
Hey, Ace. I really enjoyed most of your stuff. I think most of the water and climbing courses translated really well from DKC to SMW. Most of the ones that I didn't really like were coaster courses.
>>
>>320192837
damn that level is hard
>>
>>320195801
>Most of the ones that I didn't really like were coaster courses.

Yeah, you need good repeated jumping reflexes to have a easy time on them. Just about all of them are extremely hard. Then again, I don't feel that any of the original coaster courses were easy either.

So wait, does that mean you actually liked "Tanked Up Trouble"? Cause that is my most hated course cause of the damage boosting and keeping up with the platform. You think its not too hard?
>>
>>320195898
Well it IS a wily castle. I've got some easier stages in the campaign as well. Drybones man and blooper man are both pretty easy. Thwomp man is probably my favorite of the boss stages, but that might change when I get around to restructuring some of the earlier ones. I feel pirahna man still has alot of untapped potential.
>>
>>320195121
That took an embarrassing number of tries, but I made it.

>>320196478
>So wait, does that mean you actually liked "Tanked Up Trouble"?
Let me check which one that is to refresh my memory.
>>
>>320194541
a bit to easy for my tastes but the snow was a nice touch
>>

>>320196798
>"Tanked Up Trouble"
Yikes, nope. I'm afraid I gave up on that one pretty quickly.
>>
>>320197085
Yeah, I thought so. That's one of my, if not entirely, my hardest course. Well, Toxic Tower "maybe" is harder, but I don't think so. I tend to like fast paced action levels a lot.

I've been curious also, just how long did it take you to make Check and Point? The level of detail and complexity in that was insane.

Check & Point took me two solid weeks. A lot of that was testing every last part over and over again.

Fire & Ice took about three weeks. I started with the most complicated parts like the unlocking mechanisms, then I filled in the rest from there.

I have some ideas for a couple more sequels, but I haven't started on them yet. I fear the next one could take me a month.

Well keep it up dude, your levels are really great and amazing. Your levels are the only puzzle levels I have actually enjoyed so far.

If TUT is the one I'm thinking of, I just couldn't keep trying because the lack of a checkpoint.

If you've added one since then it wouldn't be that bad.

Bit Crusade is the series that I've been working on in Mario Maker in an attempt to add classic Mario platforming levels in course world. My take on a classic 1-1 to 8-4, with world theming, secrets, unique bosses, special worlds and the like.

Feedback is encouraged, I want people to enjoy what they play, and it helps me fix any BS I may have overlooked.

I've also started a sequel, which is still in the works. As I finish the levels I'll post them here.

Bit Crusade 2:
Start here: 1-1: Back to Basics A839-0000-00D8-1BD7

Or if you've kept up, the latest world.

World 7
7-1: Pipe Network HQ FF3A-0000-0115-8F40
7-2: Don't Beef It Squid! BFF6-0000-011A-C21A

Alternate Tunes:
7-1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8rjLUf2PniA
7-2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_9m9Ckam1c

Feeling a bit better, time to play some levels for a bit. Gonna start at the top and work my way down, though I'll jump to whoever quotes me faster.
>>
>>320198741
Yes, Tanked Up Trouble is what I am talking about, but also it does have a checkpoint now. It has 5 clears out of 35 people, so its not nearly as bad as it was before, when it was 2 clears out of like 80 people.
>>
>>320197487
I'm working on it. I'll keep trying for a little while.

>>320198393
I appreciate it. I really just set out to make things that I'd enjoy myself, so other people actually having fun with them is a nice bonus.
>>
>>320198141
>A927-0000-0119-90FA
nice joke level
>>
>>320198795
How's it going, Keith? Is 7-2 new? I'll hit that shortly. I forget if you made it through Fire & Ice before, but I reuploaded it with a small fix. I know it's a long one, so you can save it for later if you like.
>>
>>320198393
Have you tried the thinking time guy's puzzles? He kind of stopped playing a month into release, but he has some great stuff.

15FA-0000-00A1-CF06

You can get to the rest through his profile, but some of them are pretty ingenious with how they make you use the mechanics.
>>
>>320199504
Yeah, they are amazing, but I just don't know enough about the styles mechanics yet to be able to beat them. I did star all of them however, cause I tend to star a level that I like, regardless of if I can beat it or not.
>>
>>320198983
Well I'll probably clear it with a checkpoint. I keep meaning to get around to your stuff but I end up getting sucked into playing other stages. I started chipping away at them earlier though, they've all been pretty enjoyable.
>>
>>320199403
It is, just uploaded it like an hour ago. I did finish Fire and Ice, and I'll gladly go through it again after I knock out some stuff in the thread, if the Tylenol doesn't knock me out first lol.

>>320190487
I think its kinda cool, didn't expect it. I wonder when the next batch of costumes will come out and what they will be. Gonna play blok crusade, as its the only one I haven't yet.

7-2 was great. Beetle shells and capes are a fun combination.
>>

>>320198983
Beat it.

First time I played it I was still new to mario maker and didn't know you could crouch to put on helmets.

You might imagine this caused extra frustration with the latter half of the stage.
>>
>>
>>
>>320201038
Cool, nice work dude. Yeah, not knowing how to put on helmets is bad. If you are interested in other hard paced levels that I have, you should check out Haunted Hall and Toxic Tower. Those two are also really hard fast paced levels too.

I remember Fanatical Factory is super exciting and fun. I still haven't beaten Mushroom Samba.
>>
>>320202646
Great use of non-lethal punishment. That was a fun ride. I wonder how I missed playing this one before.
>>
Bump before bed.
>>
Is it possible to get unbanned from Nintendo Network?

I may have gotten my little brother banned by changing his mii to Hitler...
>>
>>320202737
Mushroom Samba has a bit of a puzzle element to it, if you know that ahead of time it's a lot more manageable.

>>320203842
Thanks, I designed the level that way since the respawn time in Mario Maker always takes so long.
>>
>>320207124
I figured out that the different mushroom colors correspond to the different kinds of jumps, but I just can't get the timing down.

I loved the idea behind Veiled Villa. I might have to play that again sometime.
>>
>>320197487
Is there a checkpoint in this somewhere? There should be one right before the shell blaster.
