Is there really a way to AFK farm revenue overnight? I heard just having your character auto-run by holding the control stick down is enough to do it, but I also heard that just running in place doesn't trigger revenue? idk

Just run past everything. The actual enemies you have to fight are weak.
But yeah the usual rule is add 5-8 levels to the recommended level for quests.

dunno, i just use enemy exploit skell weapon augments (40% more damage per each) and look for soul voice triggers and for one of my teammates to do a hold on a larger enemy so i can make my sidearm hit for way more damage.
with just a few of the surprisingly easy to make intergalatic enemy exploit augments you can drop a heavy hitting opener and one-shot many of the level 50-ish ganglion skells using only level 30 skells.

Well the recommended level is 30 and you have to fight 6 lvl 34 enemies one of which can one hit my main when he gets low.
I had done most of the available side and affinity quests, not that I can pick up another cause I'm locked into a chapter.
So yeah it's grind now for an hour or finish up the current story plot while it's relevant and grind later.

A) We level up when fighting anything is 90% of the time merely a chore and squad missions are not doable more than half the time without a Skell just for mobility/speed
B) XP gain mostly comes from quests of which I have done every single one I've come across to this point
C) Even invested into gear shops but gear itself is only comes in level tiers so upgrading it is not a frequent decision
D) Literally everything was going down even if it was higher level because of Player/Monster level caps being significantly different, it was literally just Gaito being stupidly resistant and stupidly effective for NO DISCERNIBLE REASON WHATSOEVER?
Keep in mind Ether gear doesn't appear either until you've beaten her.

your main source of xp is random mobs you nigger. I jumped from level 13 to 17 in like 30-40 minutes of just killing stuff, killing appropriate shit gives you plenty of exp. Quests give absolutely dick all experience.

OP here, pissed off with how the game ended. Let me explain why:Lao being a spy was obvious as fuck, yet no one did anything about it even after they eat around the bush so long. Elma doesn't address the situation and it's like some huge fucking obvious surprise that OH NO LAO IS BAD except you knew that 5 chapters before then and none of the characters dd anything about it. They should've gone the Dickson route and not made his betrayal so blatantly fucking obvious padding to attempt to develop his character. The only good thing about Lao's part in the story is that he comes around in the end. Seriously, fuck Lao's story.
The only good things that came out of this game's story was the climax. If the info and stuff revealed in the final scenes of the game were brought up earlier this game's story would've been insanely better.
Teamed up with a lass using an Area 90, fuck me, that shit looked good.

I feel like the main reason for this is the lack of a story-central main character. Your avatar is just an empty shell that barely interacts with anyone unlike Shulk.
Maybe they'll put more emphasis on the avatar in the next instalments. There's still a lot of questions about him/her since it's the usual memory loss device. And why did Elma pick him/her for her team? I still didn't quite get that.
